Support

Poemir is a powerful authentic creation tool — your words, your thoughts, no generative AI. It is a tap-to-compose writing app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac — poems, essays, journals, and lyrics. Composition tools (word flow, rhyme, rhythm) work in English and run offline on your device. Optional Apple Writing Tools proofread is off by default and appears only when you enable it and ask.

Common topics

iCloud sync — enable iCloud for Poemir in system Settings; silent push keeps libraries in sync across devices. Preferences (including library show/sort) also follow you via iCloud.
Library show & sort — use the up/down-arrow control in the library toolbar to show all, writings, lyrics with chords, or SynapNotes, and to sort by recent, created, or a–z. Choices sync with your other Poemir settings.
Writing proof — opt-in under Settings → composition. Records your keystrokes with timing while you write, as proof your words were typed by a human. Replay sessions from the compose toolbar (clock icon) at 1x–20x with pauses condensed or in true time, or export a proof file / small video. Sessions back up to iCloud only when you leave the app.
Apple Writing Tools — off by default so no system popups appear over your writing; enable in Settings → composition to get the proofread bar and toolbar button.
Markdown / Lyric Mode / ambient sound — off by default; enable in Settings when you want them.
SynapNotes — always available from the library. Spatial brainstorming canvas (not generative AI). Double-tap blank canvas for a bubble; outline → + for linked thoughts; Make Composition when ready. Bulk export includes SynapNotes canvases.
Kids Mode — parent-gated vocabulary limits in Settings.
Library recovery — recently deleted writings may be restorable from Settings → Recovery.
